About IFCAR

          IFCAR.net came into being in Janaury of 2005, to provide information to car-shoppers and those who help them. With a focus on comparison-based reviewing, IFCAR hopes to eliminate the problem that many reviewers have of praising every car. In a comparison, there will always be a loser, and half the cars will be in the back half of their test group.

         Currently, IFCAR includes primarily comparison tests, but single-vehicle reviews and other automotive information is being phased in. Also, while IFCAR.net includes only information about new vehicles, reviews of used cars are also planned for the future.
